With a voice that floats between Sarah McLachlan soft to Alanis Morissette hard, Leslie Nuchow's political and personally astute lyrics will leave the audience inspired and amazed. Annie Lennox says Leslie's voice 'stands alone in [its] own category'.
In 1997, Leslie was approached to participate in a high-profile promotion run by the Virginia Slims cigarette company. In keeping with her belief that music has the power to heal and should not be used to harm, Leslie turned down their offer and started the Virginia SLAM!, an organization committed to exposing corporate deception.
After winning the nation-wide talent search, Leslie was invited to perform at Lilith Fair 1999, in which she shared the stage with Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, the Dixie Chicks and Deborah Cox.
Leslie has also shared the stage with the Indigo Girls, Joan Baez, Shawn Mullins, Jill Sobule, and many others. She has also sung for Nelson Mandela and has been featured on MTV, Good Morning America, CNN and Dateline NBC.
I listen to Leslie's music almost daily and everytime wonder how she is doing and hope she is OK. She made a wonderful contribution for the short time she was public - she is dearly missed.

This artist completely fell off the face of the planet. I still check to see if there is anything anywhere, but nope..
