Littleton Jones is one of the most promising new singer/songwriters emerging today, with acoustic roots and a unique sound that draws mainly from pop, rock, and folk music. Most engaging is the sense of intimacy in his voice, honesty in his lyrics, and the feeling that his songs are our songs. It's as if he weaved all our life's experiences together with his and gave us a voice to comfort us.
Born and raised in the Garden State, Littleton Jones has been performing both solo and with a band since 2003, primarily in the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan area. In 2005, Jones relocated to Los Angeles where he is currently working on the follow-up to his debut cd Somewhere Deep Inside. Since the release of Somewhere Deep Inside in 2003, seven out of the twelve tracks have been featured in Broadjam's Top 10. Four tracks have charted in the Top 40 at Garageband.com. Littleton Jones has been a Featured Artist on THE LA MUSIC PIPELINE, the on-air weekly Rock Radio show on big-FM (the No.1 CHR Radio Broadcast Network in Europe/Germany).
Jones also writes for other artists. His first and only Christmas song was released in December 2005 by a very peculiar Brit named Lord Weatherby. The song, Santa Claus Is Freaking Me Out, has won numerous awards including Grand Prize Winner of the 2005 Nashville International Christmas Song Contest and First Place Winner (Comedy/Novelty) of the 2006 USA Songwriting Competition. It was also the Number 1 Song at Garageband in the Comedy Charts (2006) and is one of the Top 10 All-Time Comedy Songs.
