"Let Me Love You" is available for download on ITunes. This is a pretty big deal for us, even though we've had songs on ITunes for several years now. As most of you know, we underwent some changes last year and it was a pretty difficult transition to go through. This single is the culmination of some of the hard work we've been doing here in Nashville in the meantime. We are truly excited about having new music out that people can buy and are excited to be playing it at our live shows. We'll be shooting a video for the song in Nashville next week and we'll let everyone know when that will be released as well.
"Let Me Love You" is actually a lot of "firsts" for us. It is our first radio release featuring Cody Collins on lead vocals. It is the first single that the band has produced (along with Justin Niebank). It is the first single from our Lonestar Records label. We used to talk about making records and being more involved, etc. but this truly is a Lonestar record. We didn't have an A&R team working for us and we took the song meetings ourselves. We did all of the pre-production ourselves as well. We just wanted to make music and get it out to our fans.
And to our fans: Thanks for hanging with us! We know you have many options when you listen to music and we're glad to be one of your choices! Thanks for making Lonestar a success and with your help we'll continue to play, produce and write new music! Thanks!
Here is a review of "Let Me Love You," (in case you need more incentive...)

After the departure of lead singer Richie McDonald I'm sure many people never expected the band to return to its prime. Well those who had expectations of a fall are wrong. The group returns off of their new home at cO5 Nashville with new lead singer Cody Collins who, dare I say, has a much purer sounding voice and a more modern performance quality than Richie. This song keeps to Lonestar's pop/country twist and works very well, as usual. The song brings you right into it like Lonestar used to do before their fall from their prime a few albums ago. It just has that quality of a great song. To top it all off the song is a well written, fast paced love song that contains excellent wordplay and metaphors that bring out its purpose but still keeps it fun and enjoyable, basically spreading the love without the tears and the mushy stuff that Richie became well known for in such songs as the landmark single "Amazed" and the overdone "You're Like Coming Home". This is a huge breath of fresh air as compared to the most recent work from the group that had their record labels using family style love dittys to try and make them fit in. "Let Me Love You" just sounds so natural that you'd never know they were gone and serves a sort of another debut hit from the band because this truly is a new act, a much better act that has evolved from what used to be one of the most significant groups in the genre before it fell victim to their record labels poor attempt at helping them "fit in". If there was a song to remind anyone that the boys of Lonestar are talented and sound great this is it. I believe it's safe to say welcome back!!!
