More...Another great digital release is coming your way TODAY from Nacional Records! This time, we’re releasing the soundtrack for the film, "*English as a Second Language [E.S.L.]*" - with songs from Mexican Institute of Sound [MIS] and special guest remixer Nickodemus, as well as from Nortec Collective, Sara Valenzuela, Los Bunkers, The Pinker Tones, Aterciopelados and more.
E.S.L. is the story of Bolivar de la Cruz, a young Mexican man played by Kuno Becker, who immigrates to Los Angeles in search of the American dream. He meets the beautiful and restless Lola Sara, daughter of immigrants herself (her mother is played by telenovela star Maria Conchita Alonso). The movie explores this complicated relationship as it unfolds between two characters from different sides of Latino culture.
The soundtrack release on February 12th coincides with E.S.L.'s national DVD distribution release. The movie will premiere on Showtime in March.
