BLACKSBURG, CARRBORO, ATL, BEAR CREEK, ASHEVILLE
We have officially reached the last week of the extended portion of our Fall Tour and we're heading South! Tonight we'll cram our way into Attitudes in Blacksburg, VA for one of the smallest shows this Fall. Definitely pick up your tickets now or arrive early if you want to ensure you get in there. Tomorrow night we head to North Carolina at make our annual stop at Carrboro's Cat's Cradle. This Thursday (11/12) we return to the ATL where we spread our wings at the Variety Playhouse after a great time this summer with STS9 & Ghostland Observatory in Alpharetta, GA. On Friday the 13th we expect to see a sea of your hands in the air for a rare Fall Festival appearance - performing 11:30pm-1am at Bear Creek Music Festival in Live Oak, FL. The last show of this segment of the tour brings us to one of our favorite stops, the Orange Peel in Asheville, NC on Saturday, November 14th. From there its two weeks of preparation for the huge Thanksgiving weekend shows in Chicago (11/27 at Vic Theatre) and NYC (11/28 at Terminal 5).

MIKE & CHUCK SIDE PROJECT 11/20
Mike & Chuck will be doing a special show on November 20th in Boulder, CO at the b.side lounge along with DVS and Goodie (from MFA). This is the second time this lineup has come together and will be a rare opportunity to catch Chuck on the full drum kit. DJ Harry kicks it off like only he can. More details here!

LOTUS/BIG GIGANTIC REMIX SWAP
As we meet up with Big Gigantic tonight for the Southern leg of our tour, we've dropped a pair of remixes on ya. Jesse has remixed a track of Big Gigantic, "Thinking Out Loud," off of the album ‘Fire It Up,' while Dominic Lalli of Big Gigantic returns the favor, remixing the Lotus track, "Simian," off ‘Oil on Glass.'
"Dom's compositions always feature strong melodies, so I wanted to keep that element mostly in tact for this remix while using a different tempo and beat than the original," explains Miller. "I spent a day bouncing tracks to an old 4-track tape machine to get some analog grit and manual EQing on the mix, hence the Cassette moniker in the title."
These two exclusive remixes can be streamed online or downloaded at the site below. Downloads can be in MP3 format or other formats - including full quality .wav files - and fans will set their own price for the downloads. All proceeds will be donated to Musicopia (www.musicopia.net. Musicopia is a non-profit organization that brings educational music enrichment programs to schools and communities throughout the Delaware Valley.
