Since their inception in 1999, Madwack has been gaining recognition throughout the New England local scene. Originating from Northern Massachusetts, the band has been striving to captivate audiences with their energetic live performances. The five multifaceted musicians create aggressive outbursts and melodic harmonies that define the sound of this diversely layered group. Madwack released their anticipated three song promotional EP in early 2002. The EP was recorded and produced by multiple Grammy nominated, Andrew Schneider, who recorded and produced Godsmack's debut LP. The band's tremendoes work ethic and drive has been gaining them recognition throughout the country and grabbing the attention of major record labels and promotional advocates, the EP has earned frequent spins on Boston's major radio stations and Internet web casts. "Madwack sets up some pretty cool sounding, aggressive metal with good twists and turns on their debut EP, especially the lead song, "Let Me Go."-Shred, DJ, 104.1WBCN. In addition to having a presence in nearly 50 US states, Madwack has reponded to the request of fans around the world. Copies of their EP have been sent to fans in countries such as Canada, Japan, Germany, UK, and Italy. Madwack is currently in pre-production for their much-anticipated debut full length album. The band will be flying out to Iowa to record with producer, Tom Tatman. Tom recently finished Stone Sour's debut album and has also worked with a number of major labels including: Roadrunner, Sire/Warner, Columbia, Grass/BMG, Link/Hollywood, Time/Warner, and many others. Look for Madwack's debut album on shelves in the summer of 2003.
