  I first saw Magazine back in early 79 at Manchester Apollo, promoting the album Secondhand Daylight. Simple Minds were their relatively unknown support band who also played a blindingly fabulous gig doing their Life in A Day album. Magazine lineup was Devoto, Adamson, Formula, McGeoch and I am sure it was Martin Jackson, but my memory may be faded here as I know John Doyle was on that album. The gig was in May 79, maybe someone can refresh my memory. My fav band anyhow, saw them at Glasgow o2... More...   ah man, this band are great Live, they've still got it. Just got Scree on download and also threw in Times Up , Devoto is a legend!

ENCORE Thank You.../Motorcade 2nd ENCORE. I Love You Big Dummy. Brilliant sound, band on top form, great vocals, lights, additions by members of Ipso Fac... More...   Doubtful, but hope they come to the US. Would love to see/hear them live. Permafrost....just amazing.....

  Come and play somewhere near me: Birmingham. Wolverhampton, Warwick Arts Centre, Oxford, Bristol, Cardiff...I don't mind !!!
