  It is telling that Miles Davis titled a track on Bitches Brew “John McLaughlin.” (and later John paid homage in “Miles Beyond” on Birds of Fire)…what came out of that Miles album is phenomenal.

  Cameron, actually I've got one or two mahavishnu albums that have definately got prog songs on :) Birds of fire has some prog! Inner mounting flame is tops!

  lol seth mate mahavish isnt prog u bellend, its jazz fusion, it is progressive but isnt prog in the sense of bands like gentle giant and caravan. sort out ur facts ;)
