Once upon a time there lived a beautiful princess who lived in a far away land. One day as she was riding her giant cockatoo, a large snail approached. "Oh, little princess," said the snail. "I have crawled my way across deserts, mountains, and oceans, leaving a trail of slime for miles just to find you." The little princess listened for a long time to the giant snail's tale of woe. The snail had been made giant by an evil wizard who thought that eating snails were disgusting. The wizard thought that if he turned all the snails into 10 foot tall creatures, no one would want to eat them. Unfortunately, for the wizard, snail eaters were delighted with the larger snail portions. This made the snails very sad because now, they were easier for the snail eaters to find. The snail had come to the princess because the only way to break the curse was to tell your tale to a beautiful princess. The princess pondered this as she and the entire kingdom feasted on some delicious boiled snail dipped in drawn butter. THE END.
