Matthew Good’s fifteen year career has been marked by everything from multi-platinum album sales to an uncomfortable relationship with the media, a disdain for celebrity, eccentricity, reclusion, activism, triumphs, failures, and everything in between.
He has used his official website to post short fiction and commentary on a wide variety of subjects since 1997, most notably the declination of global human rights standards post 9/11, US foreign and covert policy, militarism, neocolonialism, and poverty and mental health issues. He is a member of the International Academy Of Digital Arts And Sciences, an advocate for the Canadian Mental Health Association, the Rideau Institute’s Ceasefire initiative, an ardent supporter of Amnesty International, and contributes to The Guardian’s Comment Is Free.
Born June 29th, 1971, he resides in British Columbia, Canada.
