    I appreciate what others have done on the saxophone, but Michael's playing has truly inspired me to better my playing for the last 20 years....the pursuit will never end as it didn't for him.

    spectacular artist whose unique style and sound will influence the music world forever. PS if you haven't heard him on Elvin Jones' "The Truth" then you are missing out. RIP Michael

    R.I.P THE WORLDS GREATEST EVER SAX GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! Nobody can fill the huge gap!!! His tone and intonation are the finest that have ever been!!!

    I think the two most amazing things I've ever seen him do were A. Naima when he stuck his foot in his bell to get the pedal A to come out and B. Round Midnight where it's just him and a bass
