    michael azzerad's book "our band could be your life" is such a poignant saga of the indie world circa 80s. Minutemen's story was epic...and tragic.

    Just saw "We Jam Econo" a great documentary about the the band on Sundance Channel. A must see for Minutemen fans! Great interviews with many of the luminaries of the 80s SoCal Punk scene. Its only on a couple more times this month so be sure to check it out.

    i just listened to all forty-something tracks of Double Nickels on the Dime, and i dug it a lot! however, it wasn't really punk rock. the attitude was definitely punk, but music struck me as more of a funk rock miscellaneous mixture. either way, it rocks!
