Mob4 is an original modern rock band made up of seasoned musicians who are veterans of writing, gigging and recording.
History:
Pasquale and Vince formed the band in late 1999. While searching for a new lead singer to front the lineup of their progressive hard rock band, they realized that Pasquale was a better vocalist than anyone they auditioned. Vince returned to his roots on guitar and Mob4 was born. Pasquale and Vince collaborated on several new, exciting songs that emphasized "feel" and "groove" instead of speed and volume. They began to mix elements of funk, rap and soul with good old rock and roll. The result is a diverse set list that appeals to a wide range of listeners.
In early 2001, the duo went into the studio in Shelton, CT with good friend and producer/engineer/keyboardist Frank Ventresca to record a 4-song demo. The SoundView Studios demo got the attention of a production/promotion company from Nashville and in late 2002 Pasquale and Vince traveled south to record a 3-song promotional CD that was shopped to major and independent labels. Songs from the Nashville sessions and the Soundview demo were combined in Mob4's self-titled debut release in August 2003.
Earlier in 2003 Juan Olivetto had signed on as bassist for the band. Juan has become an integral part of the Mob4 sound and is a huge promoter of the band. In 2007, Gerard Awad brought his talent and expierence on drums into the mix. They share a passion for original music and have helped take Mob4 to a new level.
In 2006, Mob4 teamed up with Full Circle Productions to revamp the Mob4 look and submit their original songs and videos to A&R reps from major record labels.
