  • O' Captain

Song by Andrew Marlin and Molly Miller. Recorded by my little mac, and accompianied by my accordian -- first time I ever played it since first purchased at the Boone General Store.

The duo have a new album coming out soon. Checkkit.

  • Whiskey In The Jar

Molly McGinn & The Buster Dillys drop the traditional Irish song, Whiskey In The Jar, on the crowd at M'Coul's 6th Annual St. Patrick's Day Block Party in Greensboro, NC.

  • Deep Ellum Blues

This past Tuesday night, Molly pulled a couple of Buster Dilly players up on stage to jam on the standard, Deep Ellum Blues. Former Thacker Dairy Road and current Old Stone Revue lead guitarist Chris Lord and the front man for Old Stone, Joe Blevins, made the night memorable.

    Enjoy!

  • Molly McGinn... the Thespian

Molly is always looking for opportunites to challenge her creative comfort zone, both inside and out of the world of music. Last week, she pounced on an invitation to star in the first short film of an online series going by the name of The Corporate Assassin.

Without further ado... the first episode: Silence is a Virtue

  • Count To Eight

Molly started a tradition recently; she's been closing her Tuesday night show at M'Coul's Pub with her yet to be released original, Count To Eight.

  • Fantastic Day live video (a work in-progress)

Molly's been playing around in Garage Band creating bass lines, drum beats and importing guitar tracks via her FireBox. It's been a great tool for her to sketch ideas for melodies and to work in her songwriting process.

She recently upped the ante and started bringing her laptop to solo gigs as a backup for a few of her "work in-progress" songs. Fantastic Day needs a few more verses and tightening up, but it's one of her favorites.

This rough version of the song was performed at Molly's weekly, Tuesday night gig at M'Coul's Pub.
