As a fixture of the San Francisco music scene since 2001, Mud has developed a strong loyal following of fans addicted to the band's heavy guitar riffs, infectious melodies and collection of high energy pop songs, that draw comparisons to successful crossover bands like Blondie, Green Day, and Jimmy Eat World.
Signing with San Francisco indie label Talking House Records in Fall of 2006, Mud spent most of 2007 developing material and crafting the perfect sound for the first full length album "Yearbook", which is scheduled to be released on April 15th. The ability to spend time recording with music producer Paul Ruxton has made their upcoming release something to truly look forward to. Fans old and new will be surprised and pleased with Mud's new sound -- they will definitely have something to sing about.
