Nick Redmond was born outside of Nashville, TN in a small town called Clarksville. It wasn’t long before his family moved to Memphis in search of better business opportunities. He was six years old. Taking piano lessons from age six to sixteen he became educated in the principles of music and its dynamic effect on the human soul. However, among other instruments, guitar was soon to claim his interest. Nick recently moved to Florida to earn his degree in Recording Science. During this period Nick recorded a wide variety of styles called “Red Sun”. An album, Nick says, “I have been thinking about for a long, long time…” Nick Redmond has been in and around Memphis and Nashville music for almost seven years. The album “Red Sun” was released January 1, 2007. It was mastered inside Ardent Studios by Larry/Kevin Nix and engineered by Jamie Schiro, James Rocha, and Nick Redmond. This will be Nick’s fifth album and first solo album.
