Fusion Unsilenced Otis Goodnight represents the best elements of East Bay fusion, blending hip-hop, soul, funk, r&b, ska, reggae, and rock into a bootyshakin’ mix that reaches into the heart, the body, and the soul of the audience. They represent the power of cultural respect and unity, and through their collective synergy, bring a new voice to popular music that is long overdue. Recently, Otis Goodnight has been getting high praise performing with Digital Underground and Raw Deluxe, bringing a hot stage show to the clubs and summer festivals. Led by band leader Otis Goodnight, they are committed to delivering a unique blend of acid-jazz, funk, hip-hop, ska, reggae, rock, and pop that serves a broad range of listeners both young and old, pushing them to new aural horizons. Recently the band has been rocking audiences on both sides of the SF Bay Area, playing the S.F. Bay Area circuit with Digital Underground, Stymie and the Pimp Jones Luv Orchestra, Orixa, The Soul of John Black, Felonius, and Alphabet Soup. While they still perform songs from their self-titled debut CD, produced by Grammy award wining producer Jason Stokes (Atliens/Outkast 1999), they have been writing, recording and are preparing to release their first video for the song "State of the World". A multi-cultural group of musicians, Otis Goodnight bridges the gaps between what those in the older generation want to call "real music" and the modern sounds of today. Together, they have decades of experience and the desire to spread love, knowledge, and good music to their fellow peoples...
