Jan 22 2008, 09:10 AMPaddy Casey's trip to SundancePaddy Casey's trip to Sundance was a HUGE success. He was a real star completing a ton of performances and interviews. There was so much buzz on him in Park City - he was the artist everyone was talking about! Thank you to John Ingrassia, Caroline Beck, Josh Green and Diana LaPointe who came to every single performance to support Paddy. Provided below is a recap of everything he did within 48 hours! Performances
ASCAP
- Paddy did TWO performances at the ASCAP Music Cafe. Both performances were packed and response was great. He did interviews with Billboard.com, MSN.com, Paste Magazine and Park City TV on site. He hung out with Tilda Swinton backstage who is a fan and asked us to send her the CD. See below for press details.
Wall Street Journal
- Paddy performed at the "Point of View - Wall Street Journal Cafe." There was a great crowd. He did an on-site interview with the Wall Street Journal.com. Clip to follow.
U2 Bon Appetite Film Premiere Party
- Paddy played at U2's cocktail party which occurred before their movie premiere. There was a very heavy crowd in the room including Colin Farrell (swoon!), the guys from U2, CNN, Access Hollywood and more. Gary Arnold from Best Buy made a point of coming up to Paddy to complement him on his performance.
Paste Magazine / Amnesty International Party
- Paddy performed three songs at the Paste Magazine party in celebration of Amnesty International's "In Prison My Whole Life" premiere. John Legend also performed.

1. MSN.com - MSN filmed Paddy's ASCAP performance and did an interview. Bob Hoch has arranged for this to run on MSN.com around street date in the "One To Watch" program. Hits: 9.7 Million Hits Per Month
2. Billboard.com - Billboard filmed Paddy's performances at ASCAP and did an interview with him (outside in the snow!). Check it out on the FRONT PAGE of Billboard.com http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/index.jsp. Hits: 3.1 Million Unique Users Per Month, 25 Million Page Views.
3. Wall Street Journal.com - The Wall Street Journal interviewed both Paddy Casey and John Ingrassia separately. Their interviews will also run on Barrons Online and Market Watch. I will send the link as soon as I get it. Hits: WSJ.com has 10 Million Paid Subscribers and 125 Million monthly page views. Market Watch has 7.5 Million Unique Visitors with 213 Million monthly page views.
4. Paste Magazine - The publisher and editor in chief of Paste Magazine were present for three of Paddy's performances. They really like him. They interviewed him for the Paste Magazine video podcast called Paste Vision. Paste Vision is available on Itunes and on www.PasteMagazine.com. They will also do a review on him around street date. 5. Access Hollywood - They filmed b-roll of Paddy's performance at the U2 party. It should run this week.
6. Park City TV - Paddy performed three songs at Park City's local TV station. I will send out the clip as soon as it comes in.
7. Amnesty International Photo Shoot and Interview - Paddy did a photo shoot and interview for Amnesty International's upcoming campaign to celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights. He was in good company with Mary Kate Olson and Brittany Murphy.
8. Wireimage.com - There are lots of pictures of Paddy on the celebrity/news photo site wireimage.com. They shot him at the Wall Street Journal event, ASCAP and U2's party.
