Page Lynch was born on January 15, 1985 and two angels sang. He grew up believing that God hated the use of instruments in the worship of His name. In the fall of 2002, his father brought a guitar home. Page taught himself to play said guitar and during his first year of college, he discovered that his life-long beliefs were invalid and that God had given him a talent for writing songs that display God in our everyday lives, songs that display God’s humanity, and songs that display the love of God. Regardless, he had planned to only write songs as a hobby, but after the very first performance of his music as a solo artist in March of 2006, a worship minister in Missouri told him, “You have a real talent that God has given you.” Page started thinking, “Maybe this is true. Maybe I should start developing my talents rather than burying them.” Page decided that he needed to have a band, and he decided on the band name, Running Back to Glory. But who would play in this band? How would they get where they need to go? Why had God given Page this talent without the tools?
