Pat began singing in church choirs at an early age. He started playing piano at age 9 and guitar at 13, and developed a special appreciation of blues and soul music. Professionally, Pat started out as a French Quarter street singer. He has played guitar, bass, and mandolin, as a solo and in a variety of bands in New Orleans and the Denver area. His CD ?Put Yourself In My Place? is a collection as diverse as the influences that inspired the songs: from the gospel blues of Blind Willie Johnson to New Orleans soul; from Delta blues and hard-edged Texas blues to bluegrass and country.
