Lunch Box:
"(1957) This song goes out to my teacher Miss Darby. The first girl to break my heart with a hammer.
Two things make this song endearing; the sax and his voice. The saxophone does wonders for this song. It's so catchy and recognizable you could whistle this on a bus full of old baby boomers and they'd know it's Diana. And Paul Anka's pleading voice, especially during the chorus ("Oh ..please .. stay by me, Diana") is so believable and passionate, I'm a guy and I'm liable to swoon.
Why can't they make music like this anymore?"
