The first time I came across this artist was in music tech course. We listened to the drone music made inside a water tower and the sounds of the voices blended together to make sounds unheard before. Not only was it an unusual concept but it worked and sounded pleasant and beautiful. Our class tried another one of Oliveros scripted works where wer sat and hummed a tone of our choice. Everyone hummed something different and it lead to the creation of some beautiful chord structures. It's hard to find Oliversos works but I want to collect the whole lot and studie them. I'm really interested and perhaps create some of my own this way.
