  My favorite band of the 90s, when the broke up it just felt sad and pointless. The first Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks album was awesome and I played the hell out of it, but then I just lost track. I miss Pavement a lot.

  it needs reminding that Pavement never "split", they just called it a hiatus. They WILL return and i'm glad they haven't buckled to all this ATP/don't look back nonsense. I just hope when they do reunite they'll be doing it for the right reasons. Nice to see footage on youtube of Malkmus and Nastanovich doing a few Pavement tunes at Pitchfork last year
