Penny Broadhurst & The Maffickers play sharply-worded folk and country tinged pop, with occasional excursions into disco, fuzzy indie and shoe/star gazery.
They are based in Leeds in the UK and have had radio play on BBC Radio 1, Radio FM4, BBC Music, Xfm, The World Service, Radio Magnetic and stations across Europe and the US.
Solo and with the band, Penny has played festivals from Latitude to Wireless and has supported the likes of Patrick Wolf, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, The Chapman Family and Sky Larkin.
