  Petra has inspired many people especially the christian youth around the world! It's sad to happen that the time of their retirement has come! How i wish there be back!

  Petra is the most inspirational band EVER!! They are Real. This is a band who plays and witnesses to people about God. Its so sad they are not officially Petra anymore. John and Bob are together singing still but they will truely be missed. I have seen Petra and talked to John so many times. He is a blessing to anyone who hears their lyrics. This is a man of God.

  great band..and yes the pioneers in christian rock music...they were also my first band i heard as a christian! i still have the actual cassette tape given to me by someone from church! and i still love it after all these years! God bless them for such a legacy and ministry! xoxoxo

  How can any christian not love Petra. Even if you don't like the music their ministry continues to be a blessing to millions of people around the world. Including being such great role models by leading people right to Jesus. There are countless numbers that continue to credit the band for having some part to play in their relationship to Jesus. Now isn't that what Christian music is all about?
