Poverty was founded in early 1999 by Josh Neumann and Lance Moe on the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse campus. Four plus years later they have pulled fans from around the midwest due to their excellent songwriting and mezmorizing gut-wrenching live performances. Bringing together each of their influences has given Poverty their unique sound, making it difficult to compare their sound to any other that is out there.
