Biologically defined as a form or species that serves as an original type or example, PROTOTYPE, the newest addition to the Harris Productions roster, are the words come to life. Sene’ and H2O, two individually successful and talented artists, have joined forces to bring a genre gumbo of pop, R&B, and hip-hop mixed together with a little euro creating a supernova of a new bread. Their performance driven show has lead fans and critics alike to call them the music group that “wears their emotions on their sleeves.”
Vocally compared to the stylings of Jill Scott and India Arie, Sene’ possesses the ability to touch the very core of a man’s soul with her words. From the first note you are captivated. Beauty truly is her name. Sene’s love for music started long before her adulthood. In Kankakee Illinois, at the young age of 14 she was an accomplished musician and song writer. By the time she was 19 she had worked with musical greats like Eric Benet’, James Ingram, Patti Austin, and Sheena Easton just to name a few. It’s no wonder two of Sene’ independently release singles are in normal radio rotation, in two different major markets.
Hip-hop artist H2O has been writing and rhyming for most of his life. A naturally gifted songwriter and musician, he knew at a young age where his talents lay and what he wanted for himself. Despite the undeniable challenges to succeed in the music industry, H2O has continued to strive and persevere towards his dream. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, H2O began rapping at the tender age of 6. After a personal recommendation from George Pajon of the Black Eyed Peas, H2O has joined Brazilian music legend Sergio Mendes on tour throughout the U.S. and Europe.
The Grammy nominated songwriter and producer Keith Harris of Harris Productions has worked with the hottest names in the business. From the Black Eyed Peas and Fergie to veterans like Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey and Mary J Blige to newcomers like Estelle and Murs, his trademark sound brings a diversified creativity and unique style of approach to music. “What impressed me about H2O was his drive and ambition. This was even before I had heard him rap! Anyone with that kind of determination, coupled with an innate sense of storytelling, songwriting and hot lyrics is destined for greatness,” exclaims Harris.
PROTOTYPE also works in conjunction with up and coming hit maker TrakMatik (Angela Simmons). “The mission is not just great music, but a powerful impact on a world that is going through a major change” describes H2O.
