Ray Peri is the first artist on the new Indi label HardLuck Music. The rapper, probably most known in the New York and tristate area for being the 4 time Long Island freestyle champ with one of those titles coming by way of victory in a Sony sponsored event. The Underground legend as some call him started rapping at age 5 but really got his break into the underground world with freestyle competitions. Peri also was runner up in the Loud records and MTV ultimate hip hop search. The Manhattan born, Buffalo/Long Island raised, Ray Peri born Raymond Luckey is looking to carry HardLuck music (which is owned by his father) to a competitive level in the music industry. HardLuck music is composed of Ray Peri, DLK, Fella, and CK1 they are also collectively known as UpEast .
