Rachel Furner is a 16 year old future pop sensation from the UK who has been singing ‘since she could talk’, playing piano from the age of 6 and writing her own songs from 11 years old. She was raised in a house where her bedroom doubled as a recording studio for her Father and would often lie awake in to the early hours listening to him record and playing music that could have been anything from Stevie Wonder to Kate Bush and Carol King. Sheer dedication to her music has seen her playing regular gigs in the most unlikely of places for the last year. It is this passion coupled with her exceptional talent that won her a Fame Academy Equipment Bursary from the BBC. She is also a kids Ambassador for Global Angels - the charity run by Molly and Daniel Bedingfield. Rachel is currently writing songs for her debut album and performing live as often as she can.
