Ragweed knows how to play a live show. Faithfully and frequently playing Pittsburgh over the last decade, this three-piece has developed a reputation at local venues for their brand of punk rock (think somewhere between the harmony of Bad Religion and the mind-set of Guttermouth). They have successfully toured the East Coast, leaving a trail of four different albums from Vermont to Virginia. These guys never stop. Ragweed knows how to write good songs. There are over 100 originals on the Ragweed set list, most of which have been recorded and released. From the anthems “Freedom Speech” and “Jail” to fun songs like “Bartender’s Friend” and “Open/Spread”, it is clear that Ragweed is not the average punk rock band. Ragweed can stand with punk rock legends. Their energy is palpable, their music is uncompromising, and their goal is simple: Rock the fans. Ragweed can be reached by email at Ragweedpunkrock@aol.com. (Oh yeah...the "Jail" recording on here is really old and it really sucks compared to how it's done now.)
