  Only musician I've ever plagiarized in a love letter. Was kind of useless, since I was trying to convey his emotion more than the words. That voice carried so much power -- goosebumps don't even begin to describe. Enough to make a grown man cry.

  Rick Danko has one of the most moving voices I have ever heard - he was a consummate musician and a beautiful, beautiful soul. Forever young Rick!

  He was a natural talent from the beginning when he was in the Band.. then even before that. But he wasnt originally a bass player.. although he fing rocked that too.

  One of my favorites. He has a ton of soul, and spills his heart into his music. He is a true musician.

  I'm just getting back into the Band and take great joy watching Rick Danko dance with the bass on The Last Waltz. His playing was infectious, and his voice could communicate longing and desire better than most singers alive today.
