Sometimes in our various journeys through life, we come across things that are “exceptional”, a “sleeping giant” but in their own humble way, remain unseen or unnoticed.
Enter Ritual.
Ritual is an exceptional band that in its own humble way has remained a sleeping giant. The year 2002 is about to be a very different year for this beast of entertainment though. In fact after a year long slumber, this beast is ready to explode onto the music scene as never before. Ritual have spent the last year finishing a full length record and as of June 1st 2002, will be ready to unleash their latest artistry for the whole world to hear.
The band has had incredible recognition handed to them in the past. As of right now a search can be performed on Audiogalaxy.com for Ritual only to find a number 4 listing on the site, which has been constant for endless weeks. Recently, the band was entered into an on line competition via Garageband.com which is a peer judging style Internet site. Ritual’s single “The Way It Is” rose to a number 2 position overall. A quick visit to the Ritualnet.com site guest book will also reveal the onslaught of new fan support and dedicated long time fans as well.
Ritual members Sean Harley, Joel Labrosse, Daryl Kiviaho, and Jason Collis are all equally involved in the song writing, management, production, and direction of the Ritual project which makes the band a full out force of talent. This talent is genuinely reflected in the quality of music that this band records and performs live. The live show is remarkable to say the least. The recordings speak for themselves. This band is world class.
This band is riding high on a sense of pride, and the confidence that their music simply kicks ass. But Ritual is different; they won’t throw any unnecessary “attitude” in your face, or come off as something that they are not. Ritual is a class act; the band is professional to the point that they know the music will do the talking. Ritual is 100% Great Music. After all, that’s what it’s all about. www.RitualNet.com
prolly not alot of crossover fans between these two bands. :)
I'm addicted to "Waiting By The Bridge"..so the other band should do a name change ;)

Ok. I see there are two different bands called Ritual here. The one I like is the one from Sweden, with Patrik Lundström, Fredrik Lindqvist, Johan Nordgren and Jon Gamble.
