Hi Robbie. I've just recently made a list of things i'd like to do before I die (T4 Bowel Lymph Node Cancer) and as i'm a singer/ childrens' & Adult's entertainer I wondered if you would consider recording something with me either one of mine or one of yours maybe even write something together? - Charity (McMillan Cancer Fund).. please consider what i've asked of you. It's pretty massive I know but I know out of everything I've achieved in my life, I still haven't achieved that goal of having a song of mine performed. myspace & you tube / rhodesentertainment have examples of work but mostly the track on my space called 'Brave In The Light'(I'm Not Okay!) definately means a lot to me now. Life has changed for me but i'm doing the things now that make me happy including sending you this message and hoping you'll take me seriously.. what have i got to loose hey?!! - Life is far too short. Thanks for all the music you've given to me, you have played a huge part in my life and certainly my work has found me pplaying your tarcks on numerous occasions to same response. Sheer joy. We all love a Robbie Track! My favourite track of yours is hard to choose but I lean to the song you wrote about your nan also the song with the speilberg line 'Hollywood would listen' is pretty damm awesome. You must work with Guy Chambers again in your career (which is booming again I see) you have another classic inside you. Feel is my absolute favourite and will always be simpl because of the lyrics and piano hook!...anyway as if you'll read this...but if you do listen to that song Brave In The Light' - who coould cover it? - could you help me? - it's a dying wish and there are a lot of things I'm going to miss but to have that knowledge that I cracked it after the effort after the hours children's parties, the countless days of pain before discovering the bowel cancer too late of course, but found it. I'm better after the operaton which was pointless but they placed colostomy & Illesotomy baggs and stangley enough even after chemo session 4 with limited side effects that's the worst of it. I'm sure i'll slow down says my Oncologist even more so if the chemo doesn't shrink cancer around the lymph node but it won't beat me mentally and that scares me a little to be honest but i'm not there yet am i so life goes on. I can't do my job anymore which kinda breaks my heart but i've decided that travelling around the country on chemo free weeks visiting old college friends. Armed with my recording studio neatly fixed into my back-pack i'm turning up recording the songs we did back then, mostly musical theatre but some classics, check out she's like the wind on you tube now there's a song:-) classic film too! My friends and I are having a ball because the idea is random and wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for Fbook of course.Yet all in all it's brilliant fun and I get to see them smile it makes me smile. Thank you for reading. I hope it was you. I'm not a crazy fan Robbie I'm a crazy man:-) big up that song Feel' - it really is special. PLEASE PLEASE listen to Brave In The Light' x (yes I always put a kiss on my texts!) - I saw you on loose womem. Awesome fella. I'd love to go on that show too:-)!! FFR david.rhodes32@ntlworld.com
