    Robert to top-grade. Fans should explore CDs by Robert's friend, Jess Roden, who was another talented Brit blue-eyed soul singer. Early in their careers Robert replaced Jess as singer for The Alan Bown Set. Try the "Jess Roden" CD, which came out about the same time as "Sneaking Sally Through the Alley," and featured some of the same New Orleans musicians. There are a few Roden samples at YouTube.
