  • Saw the Chattanooga show, and it was most excellent!
  • I think the St. Louis show is actually on Sept 24th, not August 24th, just in case that matters to anyone... btw Robert Plant was AMAZING at bonnaroo!!! yayyy
  • "Beauty & The Beast" played Molson Ampith Theater in Toronto .................Fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • What is AutoTune, and will it help me sing on pitch? Just saw the Cleveland concert, it was unbelievably fantastic and also the best thing since Gone With The Wind and the Sinatra/Elvis duets, not to mention sliced bread. Nothing could be better than this show.
  • Any chance they come to Asia? I guess not.. :-(
  • Fantastic stuff, but has anyone else noticed the disturbing use of autotune on his voice on 'Please Read the Letter'?
  • Went to the show in Roanoke it was amazing! One of the best concerts I have ever been too!
  • One of the best gigs i've ever been to! Was lucky enough to meet Buddy Miller the next day in Cardiff Bay. Awesome.

ROUNDER RECORDING ARTISTS ROBERT PLANT | ALISON KRAUSS AND JIMMY STURR GARNER GRAMMY® AWARDS

Burlington, MA - Rounder Records is pleased to announce that its artists garnered two Grammy® awards at last night's 50th Annual Grammy® Awards ceremony at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Alison Krauss | Robert Plant received the Grammy® award for ‘Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals' for "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)," from Raising Sand. The song is the only track from the album eligible for this year's Grammy® Awards. Raising Sand debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart following its October 23 release on Rounder Records and was certified RIAA Gold soon after. The album and subsequent tracks from Raising Sand will be eligible for nominations next year, at the 51st annual awards. Krauss, as a solo artist, collaborator, producer, and with Union Station, now has 21 Grammy® awards to her credit, the most of any female artist or any country artist.

Jimmy Sturr continued his reign as polka king, winning his 17th Grammy® award for ‘Best Polka Album' for Come Share the Wine. Sturr and His Orchestra have received 21 Grammy® nominations in the category of ‘Best Polka Album.' Released in August, Come Share the Wine is a sharp collection that covers a range of source material - from classic polka standards like "Red Wing" and "Snappy Time" to an ingenious reinvention of the Singing Nun's infectious "Dominique" and two versions (both as a ballad and as a polka) of the sterling title track. The band's in-house vocalists Johnny Karas (who doubles on saxophones), Frankie Urbanovitch (who also contributes fiddle), and Gennarose are all featured extensively, along with twin brothers Jerry and Jack Calhoun, who contribute guest vocals on the rousing "I'm Gonna Steal Your Shoes."
