Hi guys, I recently started a weekly show on Sound-Rush radio, however have left Sound-Rush after a short period to persue the series as a set of weekly podcasts. • The good and the bad

My appologies for not updating my dashboard for some time now! I have been taking some time away to work on some new matterial, however have still been continuing to work on the up and coming album.

I earlier this year advised that the album could be expected for an early June release, however the bad news (and the only bad news, im glad to say) is that I have had to delay the launch to later in the year. The reason being that I am not yet happy with what I have. Whilst alot of the tracks im happy with, it has been a long journey with alot of emotional states impacting the flow of the album, and the story it tells. What I want to do is to be able to provide you with an album that truly reflects a story, rather than something that constantly changes without any real flow.

I also wanted to bring you some exclusive news about the album. Whilst throughout the project, I originally wanted to title the album Global, and to represent each track with the sounds of culture from around the world, over the production period this ended out to not be the case; I have therefore renamed the album to reflect on the year I have had. As a representation of perseption, I am calling the album "Demonic Angel". I think it's quite catchy too! Let me know your thoughts.

Finally I wanted to let you know about my new radio show which launched last week, titled Ronnie Cross Wednesdays. As the name suggests, it broadcasts every wednesday between 7pm til' 9pm and is a great hub for upfront trance tracks and album reviews, as well as a reflection on oldskool dance music as directed by the listeners in the interactive "Classic Anthem of the Week", which ultimately gives direction for the middle part of the mix.

As you can see, I've been busy, and without saying too much, I've ressurected an old alias, some of which the material will be iLike verry soon, including some exclussive remixes of Ronnie Cross tracks.

Stay posted to find out more as time reveals all.

  • Album News: Nearly Finished!

I can confirm the album is almost complete. I am planning on making it a 12 track album, of which so far production is about 80% complete. Along side the tracks available here on site, you will also find exclusives such as Be My Friend, Montreal, Dublin 3000 and many more.

  • Close Encounters on 2-Many DJs

Last night at aproximately 12:15am Ronnie Cross - Close Encounters was given exclusive airplay for the first time on http://www.2-many-djs.com/, as mixed by DJ Dave P. Whilst Ronnie Cross and 2ManyDJs form a close alliance, this was a memorable moment, and marks the second time a Ronnie Cross track has been played on 2 Many DJs.

For those who were listening, you may remember as the track started verry nicely, however even more memorable was the transition from Close Encounters to Allure - The Loves we Lost. I'd like to say thanks to everyone who has supported me up until now, and I look forward to more memorable moments to come, with 2 Many DJs and other alliances.

  • New Track - Close Encounters

I've just finished my brand new tune, Close Encounters. As the name suggests, it is inspired by the classic Spielberg film Close Encounters of the Third Kind, however is a track of its own, in its own right. It starts off mellow, leading into a big room melody, before chilling again.

I've uploaded Close Encounters ready to be heard right here on iLike, so make sure you pop over to my Songs section to check it out!

  • New Track - Blue Surrounding Walls

Today I finished the latest project to come from my Ronnie Cross guise, Blue Surrounding Walls. I like to think of it as a trance that focuses on multiple emotions, depending on the occassion of listening.

Its not your everyday Ronnie Cross track, but follows on where Safari left off, inspired by both Frank Traxx and Aly and Fila. Check it out, see what you think for yourself, and dont forget to leave your comments on the Fan Wall, letting others know what you think.
