Ronnie Cross (aka. Essex born Steve Ronald Crossley) started producing trance music back in 1997 at the tender age of nine years old. By this time there was already a passion for Electronic Dance Music, and it was the rise of a new sound - trance - which bought to Steve's attention the potential he had in sound creation. It was only after deciding to have a little play around, had he realised this was something of an awaited passion, something that changed the way he felt about life, and something truely inspirational and directional to the passages he would take in life. Since then, Steve has been involved in many projects, and since the collapse of trance in the early 00's, has been seen by various DJs on the underground UK Dance seen as a pioneer; an activist in keeping trance alive, and what it used to be, and still lived to be, beneath the surface of modern day music culture. Steve spent 10 years using the name SXC for his productions, taking part in launches of various independent record labels, and assisting in the build up of trance communities accross the UK. It was back in 2003 when Steve's greatest achievement in Trance activism was hailed, as he launched ATFM, an all round community for underground trance music accross Europe and North America, with support from such DJs as Paul van Dyk (Vandit), Solarstone (Deep Blue), lee Haslam (Tidy), Guyver (Tidy), MissXS (iVibes) and Andrea Britton. In recent years, having focussed more on growth in the music production side of things, Steve has been played in clubs across the world in locations such as Spain, Dubai, Australia, California, Miami and of course, his home country the United Kingdom.
