    The thing I like most about Roy was his steady rise in intensity of his solo. Also, even in his later years, he took chances in his playing and continued to push himself. What an amazing player!

    Love the Giant. I got into Roy from being a Gene Krupa fan, but Roy's tunes made Gene sound good.
