Shaken Baby Syndrom(e) began it's life in the summer of 2003. The first members where Marc van Mossel (guitars), Wouter Koops (Vocals), Tonny Hendriksen (Bas) and Maarten Koops (drums). They played an eclectic mix of Emo-core and (Nu-)metal with few Punkpop influences. After a few gigs Wouter left the band and the group continued as a three-piece. In the autumn of 2004 singer/guitarist Guido Kreeuseler was admitted to the ranks and with him the band shifted directions and wrote a lot of new material, more based on pop punk, multiple guitar and vocal harmonies and good solid drumming from Maarten. After 4 shows in 2005 in Zwolle and Coevorden they had 2 live DVD's and a demo ready to conquer the world with their new sound and abilities. Lead and backing vocals switch between Guido and Marc as do the lead-guitar parts, based on whoever wrote the song or can handle the vocals or guitars best.
