I have recently graduated from Hope College in Holland, MI with a double major in Jazz and Classical piano... I have been writing songs since 6th grade - mostly on guitar until recently. I put strong stock in melody (I have sung all my life) and harmonic originality. I deal mostly with slightly warped pop song forms, but I'd like to branch out a bit more. I play and write everything on the recordings... for better or worse.
