  I'm glad I wasn't the only one who hated the thought of The Drift CDbeing in the same room as me! It sat there like the monolith from 2001, taunting me. I think at long last, I've finally made peace with the album, but you sure won't catch me listening to it late at night!

  a turning point in my life was when i finally 'got' scott walker, my parents were big on him so i grew up hearing walker but it took me till now to undrestand him.the man's a genious.

  I too took some convincing when it came to "The Drift" but can now listen to it and enjoy. Has any of you heard "Darkness" from the "Plague Songs" album? Now that is a scary song, I jumped out of my skin when I first heard it as I made the mistake of listening to it over my headphones. Now I can listen to it and marvel at the brilliance of it. :)
