All tracks have been written, produced and recorded in a studio located in the Vesterbro area of Copenhagen. Michael has been creating and playing music since childhood, and has been a member of several bands in the past. In his early teens, he began to experiment with electronic music and wrote songs at an early age. In the summer of 1999, Michael decided to record a demo and teamed up with Erin, originally from the USA, whom he met for the first time in the Danish advertising business. This is her singing debut. Sepiamusic is best described as melodic electronic music. It has also been described as a good mix of a masculine and feminine universe. Sepiamusic finds it difficult to label the music or place it in a specific genre, because they feel the music holds elements of many different genres of music. Michael is inspired primarily by electronic music from the last two decades years. Erin also has a love for electronic music, but grew up listening to music from the 1940's to the 1970's.
