  First caught Severed Heads way back around 1986 at Fed Hall, University of Waterloo (Canada) opening for Skinny Puppy. Fan of both bands to this day.

  I always considered them an industrial experimental band (especially the really early looped stuff, that old vinyl) oddly wrapped in pop package when listened to from a "distance". I grouped them in my mind with Test Department and Cabaret Voltaire... Severed Head's new stuff, yeah, where's that experimental style with that crazy FM hi-frequency synthesis I miss?
