  My favourite band ever. Nothing even comes close. Only managed to see them live once. Sorely missed.

  everything they've done is brilliant and can be very personal. been listening to 'just for a day' a lot lately. it's def not as rocking as mbv-shoegaze, but it doesn't need to be, as they have their own beautiful sound. perfect to chill out to and meditate on the day.

  To hell with My Bloody Valentine, they were way overrated....and I stand behind that. Slowdive was THE best shoegaze band, along with Galaxie 500.

  this is just slowdive not shoegaze. shoegaze is just a genre but slowdive is soul!

  Shoegazing isnt about being compared to MBV.... its about the atmosphere created, and the melodies. Def a classic in the shoegaze genre. good to see some fans.

  Slowdive are probably one of the BEST shoegazing bands...come on!! wher've you been? although the show is not slowdive, sad to see...I'm sure seeing Neil would be great

  slowdive....a disgrace to shoegaze. you can't even call them a poor man's my bloody valentine. terrible. ambient bastards.
