Smileymic is a live looper originally from the east coast of Scotland. Not unlike a D.J uses samples and vinyl Smileymic plays several instruments into a loop pedal to create whole arrangements live on stage. The results are varied to say the least but always entertaining, one moment he'll play a heart felt singer-songwriter ballad the next he'll have you tapping your feet and bobbing your head to a beatboxed breakbeat number with a hook so infectious you'll be humming it for days. In one of his sets you can expect (or not as the case may be) to be treated to acoustic,drum and bass,hip hop,trip hop,indie and electronica.
