A party on stage. A total rock riot. A new age of a cappella. These are only a few of the phrases that describe USC’s first and most storied a cappella group. The SoCal VoCals, established in 1996, are a crazy troupe of collegiate troublemakers who thrive on great music, sweet harmonies, and never-ending parties. Basically, the VoCals are a group that sings hard, plays hard, and always spikes the punch. In addition to having a great time and loving what they do, the VoCals strive every day to achieve musical excellence. They have toured across the country, and recently traveled to New York to compete in the 2008 International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, where they came out on top as the champions! The VoCals have also been featured on The Today Show and in Newsweek magazine, and have shared the stage with Queen Latifah. Bottom line, be sure to check out the USC SoCal VoCals!
You guys are great, I think you should do a lot more well known songs. I heard a very good acapella adaptation of "Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood once, you should do something like that.
