Fleetwood Mac set in 2006 with the voice of Annie Lennox crossed with Sade. The sound of Sally & The Groove Force is unlike anything you’ve heard before; new yet retro, original yet strangely familiar. Once in your head, it feels like it has always been a part of you; it is the sound of five people who truly love music and love sharing it. Since formed in 2004, their music has developed into a unique fusion, crossing boundaries between genres, creating a new sound maybe best called “urban electro/acoustic country-pop”. With the acoustic guitar as the foundation of their arrangements, Sally & The Groove Force create a new language of music by mixing the organic with mechanic; real instruments with vintage synthesizers and samples. This playful approach to mix musical styles is what makes their songs never predictable, but thrilling to both the ear and the mind. “Prince goes country” – Eddie Lundon of China Crisis. With instant, catchy and honest melodies, Sally & The Groove Force make songs you remember. In July 2005 their song “Tip Of My Tongue” was awarded best song both musically and lyrically in music-magazine Songlink. Live, this 4/5 Norwegian – 1/5 Spanish band is both charming and exiting. With female mystique and power, Sally and her enchanting voice lead The Groove Force’s and their innovative accompaniment, and mesmerize everyone who watches. Having held numerous concerts in many of the larger live-venues both in their current hometown Liverpool and Oslo (Norway), they are a favoured live band, and their fan base continues to expand. In August 2005 they released their first EP and are now receiving interest from record companies both in Norway and the UK. Sally & The Groove Force is the sound of tomorrow!
