Here is this week's devotional!

Are you stressed out? Are you worried that everything is out of your control... well no need to worry anymore - cause IT IS! Control is the great illusion and it has many fooled into thinking that they can control this world around them. The only thing that is truly in your control is your heart and whether or not you are going to surrender to Jesus Christ or not.

The Lord says in Matthew 11:28 (New Living Translation)
“Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”

The Lord wants to take our heavy burdens that weigh us down with fret and worry and give us His peace that passes all earthly understanding. Once we surrender completely and daily to the Creator of the Universe, we come to a place a rest like an oasis in the desert, like a calm in the raging storm around us.

You know there’s been a lot of talk lately about hope in the media but as far as I know there is only One Hope that is for all mankind that has ever lived or will live or is alive today – and that Hope is Jesus Christ! Jesus became the sacrifice for our sin and sickness so that we could know this awesome hope this indescribable hope

No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.
With Christ as our Savior Redeemer and Friend we have the hope of eternal life eternal joy and eternal fellowship with our Lord the way that it was meant to be!

Here is this week's devotional!
The Lord has a way of allowing us to get to the end of our rope where we finally realize that we are weak but He is strong and it seems that I’m always learning this life lesson no matter how old I get. Living in a constant state of humility and relying and trusting in Him for my every need rubs my pride and is completely against the grain of my human nature.
Psalm 69:32 (New Living Translation)
The humble will see their God at work and be glad. Let all who seek God’s help be encouraged.
If there is one thing I know is that we all need help and to have the help of the One who spoke everything into existence is something we all need… we are in need of the impossible and all things are possible through Christ for those who love the Lord!

Hello again! Here is this week's devotional.

We live in a consumers world where everywhere we turn, we are over-run/bombarded with messages of "get all you can as fast as you can" mentality, but as God’s children we are commanded to have a different perspective.

In Matthew 19:29 (New Living Translation)
And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or property, for my sake, will receive a hundred times as much in return and will inherit eternal life.

Just like the old hymn says – this world is not my home, I’m just a passin’ through. And so may we always keep Jesus Christ our Lord as our heart’s desire and focus so that we are in this world but not of this world!

I'm back with this week's devotional! I hope the Lord uses it to bless you.

Have you ever felt like you were spinning your wheels – you try to move forward with what you feel is the Lord’s plan for your life, only to get knocked down time after time?.. Not only knocked down by the world but even knocked down by our own brothers and sisters in Christ!

Well in Galatians 6:9 (New Living Translation)

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

Perseverance in doing the Lord’s will can at times seem like an up-hill battle so let us continue to encourage each other in these last days so that we will shine like stars in this dark world.

Life Change Moments Devotional 3

I’ve found out in dealing with the incurable disease, Crohns disease, that we MUST continue to praise the Lord even in our pain and that in our praise we will always find perfect joy.

In Psalm 22:26 (New Living Translation)
All who seek the Lord will praise him. Their hearts will rejoice with everlasting joy.

So remember real life is a life surrendered and in those times of trial real joy is found in our worship and praise unto the Living God!
