Based in Nashville, Soul Magnet is a far cry from what is usually associated with Music City, USA. James and Kelly met in 1996 and began writing music together. They moved to Nashville in 1997 and started searching for a band. Andy was the first addition in 1999. Soon thereafter, the band was complete. After some internal strife and musical differences, Mike and Phil stepped in to perfectly complement Soul Magnet's distinctive sound in November of 2000. Since then, the band has recorded its first full-length CD entitled "Eclipse", which may be purchased from the band via email.
