Our song 'Papasan Chair', which is on garageband.com right now, represents the acoustic side of Soup from a few years back. Since then, Soup has made - with songs like 'Where Are You Now?' - a successful transition from an acoustic-driven pop rock act into a tight, electric-guitar driven band that creates an inimitable blend of up-tempo rock and rollicking pop with clever lyricism. We've been touring over the last few years and draw well in cities like Chicago and New York in addition to our hometown of Atlanta where we were just named the 'People's Choice' band by area music fans and won the CitySearch.com 'Best Local Band' poll. With a number of new songs and a bit of an edgier sound, we're looking forward to going in the studio soon to record our next album.
